Important traveller FAQs

UPDATE: As of October 1, 2022 PCR testing is no longer required.

For trips that are in the US for 72 hours or less, a test is no longer required to return to Canada.  This is great news for our 4 Day tours down to Washington State.   Currently a negative PCR test is required for any travel outside of Canada longer than 72 hours.  The cost can range from $150 – $200 US and is borne by the traveller A special exception has been made for tours visiting the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort, where testing will be facilitated onsite with the cost included in the tour price.

UPDATE: As of October 1, 2022 ArriveCAN is no longer required.

Yes. You’ll need to submit your information within 72 hours before your arrival back into Canada using the ArriveCan app The app should be downloaded and an account created in advance. Download the app by clicking here.

You can have someone else fill in the information on your behalf however, you will require a printed or emailed copy as well as the receipt within the above 72 hour periodIn extreme circumstances, the Travel Director or Coach driver can facilitate ArriveCan forms. This must be arranged in advance and there may be a fee associated with this service.

UPDATE: As of October 1, 2022 testing is no longer required.

Yes, however testing is not done at the border. Tests kits are given out at random to travellers who then are required to perform the test within 24 hours of returning home and submit the results.  Instructions are included with the kit and assistance through the health authority is provided if required.

The decision to travel is personal.  Sun Fun Tours continues to follow all mandated health guidelines and has safety protocols and best practices in place while on tour. Some venues may have more relaxed protocols but we urge you to adhere to those as outlined by BC’s provincial health order.

Travellers who are ill and having symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will not be permitted to rejoin the tour and will need to remain in self-isolation until they are evaluated by a medical professional. If their condition is deemed not contagious, they may rejoin the group or arrange to return home. Any costs associated with delay or quarantine will be borne by the traveller. We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance that includes trip interruption and/or delay.  Refer to limits in your policy.

If a traveller tests positive after returning home, they are required per the PHO to notify Sun Fun Tours who in turn will notify all passengers and any others who may have come into potential contact with the positive traveller For information regarding self-monitoring and testing please visit bccdc.ca.

Starting Oct. 30, 2021, this proof of vaccination will be required when travelling in Canada by air, rail or cruise ship as well as internationally including the US. It is not required in BC but when travelling out of the province we recommend that you have a copy with you.

The health and safety of our guests, Tour Managers and drivers are our top priority. Your cooperation with these new safety measures will be essential to ensure a safe and wonderful travel experience. Please contact us for additional details. 1.877.786.3860 | info@sunfuntours.ca
