October 12, 2021 - Kamloops/Okanagan to Parksville, BC

Today, we head for the coast via the Coquihalla Highway. Following lunch, board BC Ferries in Tsawwassen for the afternoon sailing to Duke Point on Vancouver Island. Our destination is the picturesque Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort in Parksville.  Steeped in over 70 years of the Innkeeper’s tradition and nestled in the serene forest of the West Coast, Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort is the ideal place to reconnect with nature.  Take a walk on the beach, relax in the mineral pool and dine in one of the resort’s fabulous restaurants.  (L)

October 13, 2021 - Parksville

Enjoy a relaxing morning before taking a short drive to the eclectic Coombs Market, famous for its diverse local and international gifts, in-store baked goods and gourmet foods, and of course the goats on the roof! There is time to shop and enjoy a snack. Next stop is Heritage Forest of Qualicum Beach.  Walk along the mulch trails among the Coastal Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Hemlock and the Grand and Sitka Spruce. Peer down a lush ravine into a salmon bearing stream and discover endangered plants, deer and many species of birds.  Join us this evening for a group dinner at Cedars Restaurant & Lounge.  (B, D)

October 14, 2021 - Parksville

Situated along the pristine Englishman River, Englishman River Falls Provincial Park features two stunning waterfalls.  Join us today as we meander through the forest to explore and appreciate the incredible diversity of the island.   Returning, we invite you to relax and enjoy the resort.
