November 22, 2021 - Kamloops/Okanagan to Parksville, BC

Head for the coast via the Coquihalla Highway. Meet up with our friends from Paramount Travel before boarding BC Ferries in Tsawwassen for the afternoon sailing to Duke Point on Vancouver Island. Your destination tonight is the beautiful oceanfront Beach Club Resort in Parksville, with incredible natural vistas of the mountains and Parksville Beach. Maybe there will be a storm that you can watch from the beachside pool and hot tub!

November 23, 2021 - Parksville to Tofino, BC

Enjoy a relaxing morning before a short drive to Coomb’s Old Country Market, famous for its diverse local and international gifts, in-store baked goods and gourmet foods, and of course the goats on the roof! There is time to shop and have lunch. Next stop is Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park, one of the most accessible old growth stands of Douglas fir. Feel the energy of these towering ancient trees as you stroll along the well-maintained trails. Continue along one of the most scenic roads on the Island to Tofino, where we settle in at the Best Western Tin Wis Resort for the next two nights. Situated oceanfront on Mackenzie Beach, the resort offers all ocean view rooms.  Dinner is included this evening. (B, D)

November 24, 2021 - Tofino, BC

Today, explore the legendary west coast waterfront, home to Pacific Rim National Park and Long Beach. While in  Ucluelet, wander the waterfront; peruse the gift shops and cafes.  If the weather is good, take a stroll along the Wild Pacific Trail to Amphitrite Lighthouse, a short walk on a level trail that affords amazing views of crashing surf. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal at a local pub, then depart to Tofino for an afternoon dedicated to this eclectic village, where many artists and artisans display and sell their wares. Creativity thrives here, as you can see in the locally owned boutiques, galleries and cafes. Check out the Eagle Aerie Gallery, home of the works of renowned First Nations artist Roy Henry Vickers. Enjoy a free evening appreciating the forces of nature, where land, sea and sky meet. (B, L)

November 25, 2021 - Tofino to Victoria, BC

Leaving Tofino, cross the Island and head to Chemainus, famous for the over 40 outdoor murals that adorn this quaint town.  Arrive into our provincial capital this afternoon where your final night will be spent at the classic Huntingdon Manor Hotel. Conveniently located right in the heart of the Inner Harbour, we invite you to explore the historic streets and impressive landmarks such as the Empress Hotel, Royal BC Museum and the Parliament Buildings. Tonight we gather for a farewell dinner at a local favorite. (B, D)

November 26, 2021 - Victoria to Kamloops/Okanagan, BC

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then ferry back across to the mainland. Bidding farewell to your travelling companions, continue over the Coquihalla arriving home late this afternoon. (B)
