It’s a short drive today between Suquamish and Ocean Shores. Travelling south on Kitsap Peninsula we arrive in Hoquiam – home to the 7th Street Theatre. Built in 1928, the 7th Street Theatre is one of the few remaining atmospheric-style theatres on the West Coast. Its unique interior, transforms into a simulated open-air playhouse with a painted “sky” ceiling complete with clouds and twinkling stars. Settle in for the next two nights at the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. Its location offers views of unparalleled beauty from virtually every window and vantage point with nothing but sandy beach separating it from the rolling surf. (B, D)

From Port Townsend, we board the ferry and cross Puget Sound back to the Washington mainland. Cross Deception Pass Bridge where the views from the 180’ bridge are spectacular as water rushes through the narrow passage below.
